Keyboard — Debut Grade
Course description
The Keyboard Debut Grade introduces beginners to keyboard geography, hand positioning, and music reading, with strong emphasis on correct technique — posture, hand shape, wrist level, and finger arch — from the first lesson.
Pre-staff notation makes the course highly accessible for learners aged 5–8, while supplementary theory, scale patterns, and more advanced arrangements give older beginners sufficient depth. Two parallel tracks — Foundation & Orientation and Technique Development — run throughout, covering rhythmic counting, note names, five-finger scale positions, and finger-independence drills. The repertoire spans nursery rhymes, holiday classics, folk songs, and film music, offered in both pre-staff and standard notation.
