Course description
The EAP certificate is designed for international students, newcomers, and re-credentialing professionals whose goal is to enter or succeed in postsecondary study.
Rather than teaching general conversational English, EAP focuses on academic performance: reading texts for argument and evidence, writing structured academic responses, following lecture-style listening and note-taking, and speaking confidently in seminar and presentation formats. The program is aligned with the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) and awards certification based on demonstrated task performance, not just course completion or attendance.
